Some of you may not know, but we have studios in both Vancouver and Calgary.
The Vancouver studio is located in East Van in an area called Hastings-Sunrise. It’s an awesome location with lots of small independent restaurants and shops. The people and businesses all support each other and there is a strong sense of community and pride. So much so that we decided we should document what we consider one of the ‘last great neighbourhoods’.
This photo project became our 2020 self promotion calendar and it showcases our people photography as well as some street photography added in to give a sense of what the community is all about. What we loved most was the diversity of people we met and their openness to be photographed. In the end, all of the people we met and photographed felt the same as we do; that this little corner of the world is quite special.
If you’re in the neighbourhood, give us a shout and we can go grab a hot dog and beer and listen to some punk music.
The calendar should be arriving to your offices in early January so keep an eye out for it. If you got one last year and we missed you this time around, we apologize. Just send us an email so we can fix that.
